More About Me

Tony Conte has been a licensed Realtor in California since 1987, focusing primarily on the Lamorinda and Walnut Creek-Rossmoor markets. In addition, he has represented local developers in selling new-construction, multi-family projects in San Francisco, Oakland, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, and North Lake Tahoe for The Emerald Fund, Lennar, Holliday Development, Legacy Partners, and Wyndham, respectively.

He holds both a Fine Homes Specialist designation and a Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) credential. Prior to beginning his thirty-two-year career in residential real estate, Tony worked in computer hardware and software sales for Xerox, Datapoint Corporation, and ultimately Dun & Bradstreet Software (formerly Management Science America). His years in Bay Area professional sales was preceded by his early years teaching English at The Punahou School, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Tony received a BA Degree from Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT and graduated with a combined major of English and American Government. He also did graduate work while teaching at the University of Hawaii, Manoa campus. His passion is to elevate the practice of selling residential real estate through applying a make-sense professional approach and just working smart. Since 2010, he has worked in a professional partnership with colleague Mary Beth MacLennan in order to provide a level of customer service seldom seen in residential resale. Buyers and Sellers no doubt benefit significantly from the synergism that their collaboration provides.

In January, 2019, Mary Beth and Tony joined the acclaimed office of Coldwell Banker in Orinda, CA. They became convinced that this unique residential real estate environment will allow them to deliver a customer experience that is best in class.
